OPPORTUNITIES IN THE LAB

We are looking for prospective students and faculty to join us on this exciting microbiome research field.

Trainees in the lab will receive quality mentorship and training to help achieve their professional goals. We have plenty of projects to work on; we also encourage trainees to propose their own ideas under the research theme of the lab. POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW

Requirements:

1. Ph.D. in computer science, biostatistics, bioinformatics, microbiology, zebrafish, or related fields.
2. Experience in analyzing microbiome data sets is preferred.
3. Demonstrated excellence in research (at least 1 high-quality publications in reputable journals).
4. Good oral and written communication skills in English.

DATA ANALYST

Requirements:

1. Bachelor or Master degree in computer science, statistics, epidemiology, bioinformatics or related fields.
2. Strong computational and programming skills (R or Python).
3. Experience on analyzing microbiome data sets is preferred.
4. Good oral and written communication skills in English.

SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Requirements:

1. Bachelor or Master degree in computer science, bioinformatics or related fields.
2. Familiar with C++, javascript, and/or Python.
3. Experience in developing software packges or web-based servers is highly preferred.
4. Good oral and written communication skills in English.
